Traditional western medicine is respected by the people of this country but not the first choice in addressing sickness. For generations the people of Tonga have known about a secret plant found in the ocean and it’s health benefits.

In the pristine waters surrounding the island, the Tongan people harvest Limu Moui. They credit their health and longevity to the properties found in this plant. A scientific study shows the beneficial effects of this plant that is filled with natural minerals, vitamins, glyconutrients, amino acids and polysaccharides that support immune function. Limu Moui’s main ingredient is fucoidan, which according to prominent Japanese researcher Dr. Kyosuke Owa is said to contain the same healing antibodies found in mother’s breast milk, providing essential amino acids.

Limu Moui is one of the key ingredients found in Vitamark’s Limu Plus. Mixed
with Russian Adaptogens, Aloe Vera and Green Tea to create a sweet juice to be enjoyed by all. This unique juice can enhance the health and well being of many, no matter what the health issue. With anti-inflammatory properties it can help those who suffer with arthritis, aches and pains. With Serotonin properties it helps to increase energy as well as mood enhancement which could be relief for the many who suffer with depression.

To get excited about Limu all you have to do is try it. For many of us, getting our life back through improvement in our health is enough. For others the excitement comes in seeing the business opportunity that is attached to this product. You be the judge!

This wonderful post comes from “Positive Thoughts practice the power of positive thinking” by my good friend Karina Loureiro http://positive-thoughts.typepad.com/

Life’s circumstances are not always what you might wish them to be.The pattern of life does not necessarily go as you plan.Beyond any understanding , you may at times be led in different directions that you never imagined , dreamed,or designed.Yet if you have never put any effort into choosing a path , or tried to carry out your dream , then perhaps you would have no direction at all.

Rather than wondering about or questioning the direction your life has taken , accept the fact that there is a path before you now.Shake off the ”why’s” and ”what if’s” ,and rid yourself of confusion.Whatever was- is in the past.Whatever is – is what’s important. The past is a brief reflection. The future is yet to be realized.Today is here.

Walk your path one step at a time – with courage , faith , and determination.Keep your head up , and cast your dreams to the stars.Soon your steps will become firm and your footing will be solid again.A path that you never imagined will become the most comfortable direction you could have ever hoped to follow.

Keep your belief in yourself and walk into your new journey. You will find it magnificent , spectacular , and beyond your wildest imaginings.

Posted By Dr. Mercola

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reported that drug overdoses killed 33,000 people in 2005, second only to car accidents in the category of accidental deaths. In 1999, the number was 20,000, and in 1990, 10,000 died.

As this excellent commentary in Better Body Journal points out, the huge increase in people dying is not because of a heroin or crack epidemic. These deaths are largely due to prescription drugs.

Consider that 46 percent of Americans take at least one prescription pill daily. Are these drugs really solving all your problems? If so, then why is the pharmaceutical industry growing every single year, with some of the biggest profit margins of any industry?

A good portion of the drugs that make up the multi-billion dollar industry of pharmaceuticals are simply doing nothing, if not making us worse. For example, a recent study suggests that anti-depressants only work for the severely depressed. If you’re not in that category, then you might as well be taking a sugar pill.

In most cases, Americans are taking more drugs than they need. How about stopping the problems before they start? Take a step back and look at your life. Do you actually have problems, or do you only think you have problems because of a drug commercial?

Unfortunately most of the population has been brainwashed to take a pill to feel better. There are times when drugs are necessary, but the bottom line is that most of the time they aren’t. And when you get into that mindset that you need a drug to cure what ails you, two things happen.

First, and most obviously, you subject your body to another potentially toxic substance.

Second, and this is more on a subconscious level, it reinforces in your mind that your body cannot heal itself. No, you’re telling yourself each time you pop a pill, only these drugs can do that. Which, of course, is a lie. But the more you tell yourself that you need drugs to feel good, the more your body will follow suit. Soon you really will need those pills just to feel normal.

And this is an insult to the immense healing power of your body.

Would You Take Cocaine or Heroin?

I’m guessing most of you reading this would not. After all, recreational drugs, including cocaine and heroin, are responsible for an estimated 10,000 to 20,000 U.S. deaths per year.

Well, an estimated 106,000 hospitalized patients die each year from drugs that, by medical standards, are properly prescribed and properly administered, according to an article in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).

And 2 million more suffer serious side effects.

Taking this a step further, consider the medical error and mortality rate of conventional medicine in this light:

1. The recorded error rate of ICU’s is like the post office losing more than 16,000 pieces of mail every hour of every day, or banks deducting 32,000 checks from the wrong bank account every hour, 24/7

2. The recorded medical errors and deaths equate to six jumbo jets falling out of the sky each day, 365 days a year

3. Since 2001, a recorded 490,000 people have died from properly prescribed drugs in the United States, while 2,996 people died on U.S. soil from terrorism, all in the 9/11 attacks; prescription drugs are therefore 16,400 percent more dangerous than terrorism.

4. If deaths from over-the-counter drugs are also included, then drug consumption leaps to being 32,000 percent more dangerous than terrorism. And conventional medicine viewed as a whole is 104,700 percent deadlier than terrorism

With these kinds of odds, do you still think it’s worth it to take prescription drugs for problems that lifestyle changes can often resolve?

Most Prescription Drugs are Simply Unnecessary

As much as the drug companies want you to believe that it’s normal to take medicine every day, it’s not. It is the rare exception that you should ever need to take a drug.

Of course, you should work with your health care provider (preferably a holistic-minded one) in determining which ones are really vital, but I can tell you this: if you are suffering from any one of the following common conditions, drugs are not the answer:

 1. Arthritis
2. High cholesterol
3. Cognitive decline
4. Depression
5. Diabetes
6. High blood pressure
7. Osteoporosis

And this is only the tip of the iceberg.

Let’s spread the word as far as we can. Relying on drugs will never give you the healthy body and mind you desire. What will give you optimal health is a bit of work on your part, to eat healthy, to exercise, to relieve your stress — all of the things I detail in Take Control of Your Health.

Already, we are making a difference. The drug cartel is slated to have negative growth in 2011 — for the first time in history!

So let’s keep the momentum going. One of the easiest things you can do is to regularly review this newsletter to keep you current on the latest deceptions and frauds the drug companies are trying to get away with, and share it with all of your friends and family so that they’re aware of the issues too.

I am on a crusade to educate people on the dangers of depending on prescription drugs and to take control of your life and health!!

To Your Health,

Your life is a journey ahead of you.

Each day is a new beginning.

Yesterday is a friend that will guide you.

There will be good times and bad times;

Cherish the good, because they make life sweet,

But be thankful for the bad,

For through them you come to know

The important things in life

And the meaning of life.

There will be times when you face

Difficult decisions,

And you won’t know which way to turn.

The important thing is that you make a choice,

And move forward.

There will be times that test your strength and endurance,

But don’t give up;

Refuse to accept defeat,

For perseverance is the key to success.

there will be times when you are hurt by love.

Forgive those who hurt you

So that your heart will be free to love again.

There will be times when you make mistakes.

Remember that mistakes are not a reflection of your self-worth,

But of your humanity.

Nor do they make you less of a person.

Because of the lessons you’ve learned,

You’ve grown and become wiser.

There will be times when your search for happiness

Leads to frustration and disappointment,

But don’t stop believing in happiness.

Being happy with yourself goes a long way toward

Knowing happiness in your life.

There will be times when life seems unfair,

But don’t allow it to make you bitter

And steal your joy.

Nothing is worth this.

When fear stands in the way of reaching out for your dreams,

Confront them and you will conquer them.

There will be times when your faith is shaken,

But don’t despair,

It will rise up and carry you above the storm and to victory….

Several things on a team are not contagious. Talent. Experience. Willingness to practice. But you can be sure of one thing: Attitudes are contagious. When someone on the team is teachable and his humility is rewarded by improvement, others are more likely to display similar characteristics. When a leader is upbeat in the face of discouraging circumstances, others admire that quality and want to be like her.… People have a tendency to adopt the attitudes of those they spend time with – to pick up on their mindset, beliefs, and approaches to challenges.

There are two kinds of people in any organization: polluters and purifiers.

Polluters are like smokestacks, belching out dirty smoke all the time. They hate clear skies, and no matter how clear the air is, they can find a way to poison it with gloom. When the people around them “breathe” their toxins, they feel sicker and sicker.

Purifiers, on the other hand, make everything around them better. It doesn’t matter what kind of rotten atmosphere they encounter. They take in the toxic words of polluters in the organization just as everyone else does, but they filter the words before passing them on. What goes in may be gloomy and negative, but when it comes back out, it’s fresh and clear.

When you spend time with others, do they walk away feeling better or worse? Do you clear the air, giving them a fresh perspective and positive encouragement? Or do they go away feeling gloomy? Watch how people respond to you, and you’ll know which kind of person you are.

Let’s be purifiers today….and everyday.

Have a great day!

Some great words of wisdom for the teachings of Napoleon Hill:

If you have no major purpose, you are drifting toward certain failure. In achieving the goals you have set for yourself, there are only two alternatives: Either you are moving toward your goal, or you are drifting away from it. Choose your purpose in life and attack it with a vengeance. When you have the courage of your convictions, when the choice is one you’ve made for yourself, you will have the strength to persevere until you succeed.

You may get by in life without a Definite Major Purpose, but you will never get ahead. Definiteness of purpose is the starting point of all achievement. Financial goals in particular should be specific, definite, and measurable. You should know what you plan to earn, by when, and how you plan to do so. The greatest advantage of financial security is the peace of mind that comes from knowing that, whatever challenges life brings, you are equipped to deal with them. You will be better at whatever you choose to do because you can focus on opportunities instead of struggling to eke out a living.

I hope you were able to find a nugget of inspiration in this post. I love to hear feedback about what my readers are experiencing in life. Please feel free to leave a comment below.

A wealthy man was about to die, so he called his twin sons to his bedside. The boys began to cry as they heard their father speak about his approaching death, but with a wave of his hand the father silenced them.

“I am leaving you both with a gift,” he told his boys. “I want you to enjoy the same happiness I had during my long life. Which gift you choose is up to you.”

The man reached into a beautiful box on his bedside table and held out two gifts. One gift was a thousand $1,000-dollar bills…a million dollars in cash. The other gift was a single, shiny copper penny.
“You both have the same choice–either one million dollars or one penny. If you choose the million, it will be deposited in my bank in town and you can use it however you want. If you choose the penny, I will double the pennies you have every day for the next thirty-one days. Now, go rest and think. Comeback tomorrow morning and tell me your choices.”

He kissed them both and sent them on their way. Late that night the first boy lay in bed thinking, “Why is our father giving us this choice? Which should I take?” He was unable to sleep. But the more he thought about his father’s choices, the more he was sure about taking the penny.

The second son didn’t lose any sleep. He had made his decision the moment his father had held out that sheaf of thousand-dollar bills. he was going to take the million dollars and he was already making big plans about what he was going to do with the money.

The next day the two boys went to see their father. The first son took the penny, and the second son took the million dollars.

A few days later, the boy decided to visit his brother, to see what he was doing with his penny.

“As father promised,” the first son said, “my pennies have been doubling every day. On the second day, I had two pennies. On the third day, I had four pennies. On the fourth day, there were eight.” The second son wasn’t impressed. After all, he already had a million dollars and was sure to make a lot more.

Over the next weeks, the second son visited his brother every day and listened to him describe how his pennies were piling up. On day 5, he had sixteen pennies; on Day 6, thirty-two; by week’s end the boy had 64 cents. And by the end of the second week, he had $81.92.

A few days into the third week, the first son’s pennies had grown to $655.35. But the second son was still not impressed.

On day 28, the first boy’s pennies had passed the million-dollar mark. On day 29, he passed the two-and-a-half-million mark. On day 30, his pennies totaled five million. And on day 31, he had $10,737,418.24.

The boy who chose the penny had discovered the extraordinary power of compound interest–how money, even a very small amount of money–can grow over time.

The first son also understood that their father was giving them more than money.

I hope this story has impacted you to carefully consider choices that we make in our lives. I love to hear what people think please feel free to leave a comment below.

I wanted to share my story in hopes of helping other women that may have the same problem and not be aware of it. Puberty came at a young age for me and was never easy right up until my hysterectomy in 2007. I had many symptoms of a hormone imbalance but could not find a doctor that would help me. It wasn’t until last year that I finally found relief.

Hormones are a chemical messenger that tells the body what functions to do. Female hormones play a crucial role in regulating the ability for a woman to bear children as well as their sex drive, moods and regulating their menstrual cycle. When everything is in balance the body functions efficiently and life is good. But the smallest shift in the balance can have considerable effects on bodily functions with mild to serious symptoms.

As well as endometriosis, breast disease and menstrual irregularities.

These symptoms can occur at any stage in life, many times symptoms become more prominent during the reproductive years (early twenties up to mid forties) However, most of the hormonal imbalance symptoms which occur during the reproductive age are attributed to dietary and lifestyle issues and need to be managed appropriately, to ensure that they don’t interfere with the overall health of the female.

In 2007 my symptoms got so bad that my OB/GYN recommended I have a partial hysterectomy at the age of 38. I thought this would solve all my problems but it was the beginning of others. After my hysterectomy, my original symptoms disappeared but new ones began to emerge like hot flashes, night sweats, and low libido. That’s when the doctor informed me that this procedure could send me right into menopause! My symptoms never really went away just the ones that came with my menstrual cycle. I did not want to go on hormone replacement because of the possible side effects so I tried black cohosh for my symptoms and it worked for awhile but then my hot flashes came back. I added more soy to my diet but that didn’t work either. It wasn’t until I found VitaWomen that my symptoms finally disappeared and haven’t come back since.

VitaWoman comes from all-natural ingredients like folic acid, Vitamin B 12, St. John’s Wort and Valeriana – as well as plant derived estrogen alternatives like extracts of licorice, Black Cohosh, Dong Quai, Soy and Vitex Agnus Castus (chaste berry). VitaWoman helps restore your natural equilibrium whether you are experiencing hormonal imbalance, menopause or just battling the monthly discomfort of PMS.

I came across this and wanted to share it. There are so many times when we can get bogged down with hassles of life and lose perspective. Here’s something that hopefully will help bring things back into focus.

No means No. Parenting is not a forever thing – it ends when your child grows up. Think big thoughts. Anxious thoughts can be your own worst enemy. Negative behavior is anxious behavior. Perception is everything – we see what we want to see in life. Patterns repeat. Remember that all things do not have answers. Try to see the forest instead of just the trees. Money matters but not as much as you think. ‘I can’t’ is a cowardly way of saying ‘I won’t’. The word ‘but’ cancels out everything that comes before it. Ask fewer questions, make more self-defining statements. Learn to prioritize. Agree to disagree. Limit interruptions when you want to get something done. Read to learn, not to escape. Your support system should include more than your family. Follow the ‘present person’ rule: talk only about those who are in the room with you. Make at least one new ‘best friend’ in every decade of your life. Gather data before you act, or don’t act. Learn to be a dispassionate observer of the world around you. Cultivate endless creative outlets for yourself. And never, ever settle for second best.
